A Good Friday – Even for the Family
Good Friday displays how God in Christ relates to humans in and through suffering.
As a recovering perfectionist, I know: there’s no perfect way to “do” Holy Week.
This Holy Week, God will be at work in us in ways we cannot yet ask or imagine.
I’m thinking about toy guns with wisdom from the book of Numbers.
I want to be enough of a roadblock to convince them to think a little more deeply.
Our Holy Week family traditions vary from year to year.

This Lent, I’m practicing breath prayer with my teens. You can too.
I encourage my boys to pray, but I’m not sure I’ve done a good job of showing them how. That’s something I will change this Lent.
